How uncomfortable is it to have your parents tell you about the "birds and the bees"?

First of all, by the time they muster up enough courage to talk to you, you probably could teach them a couple of things!
Soo, soo uncomfortable!

I taught my daughter the "birds & the bees". She's 14 now; It was a little uncomfortable but heck by the time I was 2 sentences in, we were both cool.....I guess its all the way its delivered.....

My parents never did have enough courage to tell me. I learned some in school but good old experience taught me alot. lol

some things might have gone better if my parents talked to me about certain things but how uncomfortable do you think it is for them? (Had a few out of many B&BB talks with my oldest... more to follow)

LOL... they never talked to me about it... I figured it out all by myself. LOL. I probably do know more than them and I feel (not that I've practiced my knowledge) very embarrassed if my mom even comes close to the topic... "Asha, do you know anything about it?"
And just the way they say "it"... she puts so much emphasis behind it, as if "it" could kill me... haha

when my dad told me (when i was 9) about it he was so uncomfortable all he could say was that a man a woman rubbed their private parts together
so for the next three years i thought that the man rubbed his penis against a womans butt.

think about it from the parents view.... u dont want to scare the kid, and yet they need to know . kids are so private.... as a parent, i just want my kid to trust me enough to be able to talk about anything.
