Well call your doctor already! Is it bright red or brown/black? If its brown/black, the further into your digestive system it is. That is very serious. My mother in law almost died from a blood vessel that had ruptured in her stomach. They told her had she not gotten to the doctor when she did, she wouldn't have made it.

I think I'd opt for the emergency room myself.

your question is a bit vague. If it's bright red it's fresh blood - could be a throat irritation, stomach irritation. If it's dark then it's old blood which could possibly be from an active stomach ulcer. If it is happenning frequently I would see your doctor.

Are you spitting up blood or spitting out blood? Nonetheless....go to a physician to make sure it is not internal..if it is not he will send you to a Dentist....because your gums are bleeding. Good luck!

You need a doctor!!! Its probably an ulcer. My brother had one and it was not good. He had to have surgery cuz it got so bad. He was only 7 when it happened.

Stop smoking if you smoke, and go see a doctor. Regardless of if you smoke or not you have a serious medical problem that needs to be professionally addressed.

Go to a doctor. It may be nothing, but it really is important to get it checked out. TODAY.

All the best to you. Take care of yourself.

I suggest calling the specalist to see if you can get in faster, and if it gets worse go to the emergency room.
