I always had my parents sell my stuff for me at work lol
It is so hard being shy believe me I know. I'm shy too and I still haven't gotten over it and I'm probably twice your age. Do you have a lot of friends? Maybe try getting involved in school activities or something and that might help you stop being so shy. If you have a group that you are comfortable with that always helps with social skills!
As far as selling your candy, just start out by going to ask your neighbors and tell them it is for school and they will usually buy stuff. The worst they can tell you is no so don't be too scared!

Start selling to your family, ask your parents to bring a pack to work and help you sell. If this doesn't work then try your relatives, and neighbours. After these people trust me you'll branch out and start selling on your own:D good luck and I hope you win the IPOD!

Ask your parents if they can take the chocolate to work and sell it there. My daughter's school won't let the kids sell door to door

Try just selling to family and friends! You don't have to worry about being shy to them!

Why don't you just sell to your family.
Have your parents take the papers to work and see if they can get people to buy it.

try family and neighbors. Also, include that it is for a good cause, if you are to shy, then go with a brother or sister.

Come up with something funny that will break the ice.
Maybe something like "Do you want some chocolate for your cream?"
Or
"I've got something that will melt in your mouth, not in your hands."
