(This is to all GROWN men). Do you like it or would you rather ask them out?

What would you want them to say, if so? Whats appropriate?

I'm fine with it. Though it's a moot point since I'm not available for that sort of thing at present, and if it happens I politely decline.

I won't hesitate to ask a woman out if I'm single and looking for a mate, but I have no preference either way.

I prefer a woman to be direct if she's going to do it. I can't be doing with all that little girl messaging type stuff. And I'm really not intuitive enough to pick up hints; I respond only to direct blows with a very heavy implement.

Don't be subtle, most fellas don't get that.

Don't rely on them to pick up signals or clues, most fellas don't do that, either.

Just go tell him, up-front and head-on. Try this:

"I would like to go out with you."

Elegant, simple, direct, unmistakable, and more than most men hope for in their wildest dreams.

I think that it really doesn't matter who asks whom out ...
(my English teacher is cringing now I bet )

Or what kind of ice breakers are used... just as long as you show the person of interest respect that you would want shown you. For instance, If you see a guy you might want to get to know better in a bar... send a drink over or something like that. In the library, ask for help to reach that book. In the grocery store... offer unsolicited advice or a coupon or something... I hope this helps out... Good luck and stay cool

Very flattering. If a woman is bold enough to ask, I always say yes. Even if I'm not attracted to her, I don't want her to be discouraged by a negative response. If only women were so kind.

No problem on them asking. They could send a greeting card of some friendly kind, then ask if you would like to do a particular thing, such as see a show or concert, or ask you to their house for dinner.

I'm cool with a woman asking me out. Something causal like coffee is usually best. If we click, I'll offer dinner.

If I was single and a woman asked me out and she was someone that I liked i wouldn't care if she asked me out.
Don't see anything wrong with it. My wife asked me if I wanted to marry her. If she hadn't I would probably still be single
