Like everything it has its good and bad points. Technology has good and bad points. My opinion is that it is bad. I think that young people give to much information and those people that are there waiting to pounce on them benefit from this. These young people do not realize that giving all this information out can put them in danger to those that want to hurt them. All they see is the fun they can have by sharing their stories, pictures, information etc. Just my opinion.

I heard a discussion on the radio about it, it made me think different things, their perspective was for teenagers that whoever doesn't have an account @ my space is like "outdated" like if you don't have a cell phone or an email account as a teenager, you are weird.

Personally I think there is a lot of impunity through such low platforms, all sorts of things happen, (it puts young people at risk, especially teenagers, vulnerable people) it robs young people from their time, prevents them from getting things done, getting an education, it makes people deviate from their true talent and objectives, it is unproductive, a big waste of time, a lot of fantasy and lies are involved, a big big deception and completely noneducational, or constructive, from what I've seen, it is really full of rubbish especially for teenagers (which is most of them) prevents them from getting ahead and allows them to get involved with negative influences, the end result is a waste of time and a more deviated group of young people which in the end won't be getting nor be all the things they should be, you've heard on the news and diverse means how predators and child molestors, older depraved men go after these victims, they are kids that have been left at home by their parents or single parent with no supervision, and the end result is from negative to fatal, such as unwanted pregnancies, ST D's, exploited women. It is a very low source to connect to others, you don't know what you are bargaining for. (I think it's a very vulgar site)

This is such negative source, I've always wondered who created it and what was the true purpose and meaning, what was the intention of doing so, I have friends who have prohibitted their children to go on it, if they do, they would be severly grounded. I think it's great that they took that measure, as this will prevent them from having disobedient, rebellious, un-rully kids, they are trying to prevent all sorts of trouble.

BAD BAD BAD... and good. It has caused many problems in my current relationship because stupid girls wanna post stuff about my bed habits, or other stuff to make my fiance mad. it is up to the viewer to look at someones profile or not, but when they count on you doing it and put stuff on there to make you mad it can be very bad. SO BAD, she has closed her account. I kept mine, but mine is used for my music and films, so I dont get too personal on there. Mainly to network with other losers like myself.
