Please base this answers off of personal preference and what you have seen from reviews. Im using the Asus P5NSLI, I don't really like it, the northbridge gets so hot, I'm pretty sure after 5 minutes i could cook an egg on it, and yes i have sufficient fan and cooling in my box

For SLI and Core 2 Duo I would recommend this board:P5N32-SLI Premium/WiFi-AP. It is using the new nForce 590 chipset, which is a bit better than the one you are using.
