Yes, they were on a break. She changed her mind, but Ross thought it was for good. She was pissed because she felt the relationship needed at least a 48hr buffer before Ross hooked up again.

Ross and Rachel were on a break. Rachel said it herself "i need a break from us."
Just because she changed her mind in less than 24 hours didn't mean anything.
She's a spoiled little brat and if you ask me... Ross did nothing wrong!

They were on a break. But in my opinion that's no reason to go and sleep with another women, specially if the break they were taking was just starting. If the break was long, let's say a month or so, then I would understand people starting to date/sleep with other people but not that soon.

The show has been off for how long? Not only that but this issue was basically over even before that. On the other hand if people didn't sleep with someone they just met this wouldn't have come up. So if something like this ever happens to you blame it on yourself is my opinion.

Oh my Gosh... They were sooooo on a break. When he came to her office, she got mad & told them they needed a break from each other. Then she went out with Mark... It was not Ross' fault he met that girl & she wanted to sleep with him that same night. Anyway; yeah they were on a break.

yes, they were on a break. yes, he still violated a trust. yes, if I remember correctly, he was understandably wasted. Maybe not entirely excuseable, but should've been forgivable. Hwuppah!
