look at the battery on that, it doesn't have any signs, how can itell which side is p or , i nedd ot know this to know which way the current is flowing

They always have a plus sign or a minus sign printed on them. Also all of the round ones have a small bump on the plus terminal whereas the negative side is flatter.

if you mean how can you tell on the schematic, the plus is the longer line in the battery symbol

First off on a battery, most are marked with a positive and negative side, unless it is irrelevant such as a phone battery. It is believed current flows from the negative side to the positive side, however this is just a theory because no one can actually see the current moving. There are all sort of instruments that can measure current, and more that can slow it down like on oscilloscope, but they can not really see the current.

If you see those four lines on the top, one is tall, one is short, tall, short. The tall one usually represents positive and the short one is negative. So i think in your picture the left is positive and the right is negative. Current flows from negative to positive.
