I alway get dirt in between my real nail and the fake nail, I usually use a needle to scrape it out, but I find that it makes the nail come off, any other ideas on how to clean it, do they make a special brush or anything?

I would stop having fake nails put on and get a acrylic over lay. This is where they do the pink and whites over your natural nail. It looks much nicer, It's cleaner and it lets your nails grow long. You get a fill just like with the tips but its faster just sooo much better.

I am a master nail tech for Creative Nail Design and the reason you have any substance between your natural nail and the acrylic overlay is due to lifting. If you use your nail to scrape things or jab it with a needle this creates more lifting and it will come apart.. If you change your nail polish only use non-acetone or this may also cause lifting because acetone dissolves acrylic. When washing your hands a simple nail brush should work to clean all the gunk you have under them. Be careful not to use your nails as tools and maybe discuss different products with your nail tech or more frequent re-basing. :)

If this happens after your nails grow out a bit and you can see your real nails under the acrylic, have them file your real nail down underneath each time you get a fill and then glue it.

It's not a matter of cleaning it.......where you're getting your nails done, they're not doing a good job. You need to let them know, they're probably don't using a good powder or they're applying it incorrectly.

If the problem persists, try using a thin lipstick brush, anything harder than a brush will definately seperate your nail from the fake one.

GOOD LUCK!

Do you mean under the nails in the back? I always use clear coat after they are done. It keeps them looking cleaner and prevents dirt from getting in there.

thats a very very bad sign....if dirt can get under there so can moisture..if moisture gets under there then you can get a nail fungus..you should go somewhere else to get your nails done.
