Depends on the service provider. I have SunRocket and there is just place to fill in the numbers you want blocked and you save it. BellSouth has all the * numbers listed at the front of the phone book. But you must have a certain calling plan for numbers to be blocked.

it used to be star 69 but recently I wanted to do that and verizon says they don't do that anymore, suggests that we buy one of those gadgets that shows the phone number and since we know the number of who is calling that we then just don't answer it. They also said you can add a recorded message to your phone, or rent the recording from them that takes the messages (then you pick up your messages). I'm lucky, I guess, and I have the old type phone where I can still turn the ringer off.

May be *57 or *67 if att or sbc, or just call your phone company and ask for the service that screens and or blocks all unknown or unavailable numbers. Also try a "nat'l do not call list"

YOU COULD JUST CALL YOUR PHONE COMPANY AND ASK THEM IF THEY DO IT OR IF YOU DO WITH A CERTAIN NUMBER. THEY WILL HAVE THE NUMBER. IT WOULD BE MUCH BETTER THAN LISTENING TO THE PHONE RING ALL DAY.

This might depend on who you buy your service from -a.t.t., verizon, etc. Call the 1-800 number on your phone bill and ask. They will have the info!

Call your phone company. They will charge you for this service but not much.

go to the front of your phone book. I think it's *77 or 77 something.
you have to have the # to block it
