Nevermind the Senate.

Is it that Repubicans are not as hated as the Democratic media makes them out to be?

Or will the Democrats just default to the "Diebold" defense which seeks to illegitimize ANY Republican victory?

I don't agree that the Republicans are hated. There are a lot of good Republicans representing us in congress. I think part of the problem stems from the Republican administration which is purported to have made some bad decisions. That's a prime example of, in this case, how one bad apple spoiled the entire bushel.

I think the next election will tell the story of which party will dominate the house and senate.

I don't give a toot what anyone else says about this but those stealing, lying, self righteous, murdering republicans have more money to buy the office in question and they also scare the wits out of self respecting tax paying hard working people then do any democrats ever could.
It's those hard working, self respecting, tax paying people who know better then to vote for any republican but it's those same republicans who actually stole the office in question.
Did anyone ever hear the words president elect for Bush? I think not. It's because he was NEVER elected to office at all, in fact he stole the office but way of Florida and we all know who lives there now don't we? Yes, it's little brother who can't keep his own daughter off of those illegal drugs and he's also the one who has been talking about running for president too or should I say another stolen office coming up again.
As for your question, yeah, every good democrat wants the republicans out of office and the sooner the better for this country as well as for the whole world too.
I think you have the "DieBold" defense mixed up here, the republicans are the holders of that title don't they or do they just screw up the electoral votes that come in? Either way, the republicans really need to step aside because they have all done way to much damage to this country as well as many other countries already. Seems no republican wants peace but only war because it's a control issue with all of them anyway.
I suppose I'll get blasted for my answer but ask me if I care because I have stated the truth here.

it is purely some "previous college" republicans who definitely are putting directly to the previous strategies. The GOP has few supporters using Bush administration failure. they are able to not settle for the reality that the guy they elected, Bush, is the main hated guy in the international. countless republicans definitely voted democratic for the 1st time. we are on the factor the place the US is is disaster mode, so this is not approximately repubs and Dem's yet approximately individuals. If we don't pull together as a us of a we are able to all fail in spite of our political occasion. The Dem's now carry 60 % of the domicile. the human beings have spoken and maximum human beings rules. We only ought to have some faith our leaders wil do the appropriate element for a metamorphosis.

How the election in Florida was won? Have you done some research? They spent 5 milllion in data crunching company that now a days is a big insurance company called Choice Point to create a list of Felons in the state. Why? because felons can't vote. The they prevented 95 000 people from voting with the felon list. Of course it turn out that 90% of the names in the list were wrong they mathched names that have some similarities to felon names. THen they go and paralized the recount of votes when not all counties had rendered results. You think they really won the election in 2000? Ask the people in Florida that had their vote casted from voting lists if they felt good about it.

It is because of the power of incumbency. I believe that about 97% of house incumbents gets re-elected. Meaning those who were in office before have a pretty big popular advantage against their oponents. Since the republicans have more incumbents running for re-election there is a good chance they may keep control of the congress. Not very many people know who their congress representative is and as a result they vote for the one that says encumbent. There are other factors for why encumbents have a big advantage as well.

One of the reasons for this is what is called "gerry mandering." Under the constitution state legislatures are able to draw congressional districts that means they get to decide what borders each congressional district encompasses. What most legislatures do is re-draw those districts to favor their political party. They create congressional borders that stack particular areas to one party to favor themselves to win. This is what on of the things tom delay of the republican party became well known for. He was able to help the republicans win the texas state legislature at a time when they were to redraw these district lines (supposed to be done every 10 years).

In simplest terms political parties arrange voting block areas to favor their party.

I think both parties are liked and hated equally. The Republican party appears to be more hated because we currently have a Republican president. I'm sure we all remember how much people hated democrats when Clinton was screwing interns in the oval office. It's always going to be an even battle with each side taking and losing the lead.

because redneck idiots in the midwest vote republican. Simple. if you've ever seen a presidential election chart, you'll see that the majority of republican support is concentrated in the middle of the freakin country. Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, The Dakotas, Mississippi, etc. You'd think the people in the Gulf Coast area would remember Katrina before they vote for a republican presidential nominee associated with Bush, seeing how they totally screwed that up. But I digress. It's the midwest that gives the GOP their Congress seats.

When the republicans have the CEO of the company that MADE the voting machines telling them NOT to worry, they HAVE ohio. BEFORE the election, you can say what you want to BUT that is just fishy. When the machines count 12000 more votes in a county than there are people in the county, THAT is just a bit fishy. and it just goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on. all you have to do is go to google and type in voter fraud. If you really want to take the time to educated yourself instead of relying on that FAUX news channel you been watching then try the google thing.

your just hearing the typical hate mongering speeches the Dems/Libs put out on a regular basis. I think the more important question is : Is there anyone out there who has the honesty , integrity, common sense and the guts to take control of these runaway politicans, and get them back in line to do the peoples bidding and not thier own?

I believe it's because most Americans are too darned lazy to do the research, and find a new set of political parties to put in power. Things will never change, so long as we keep voting these two jokers in.
