They know how far they can push the boundaries, before the electorate actually calls them to account. The last two major Presidential elections has underscored American credulity, in first highlighting the fact that the Americans can easily be duped into thinking that there is a major difference between the two parties, when there isn’t. Secondly, the last two Presidential elections show that style wins over ideas. Lip service to bubbly euphemisms garners more votes than salient strategies. Is it any wonder given all of this that the Republicans think that the American public is so gullible that they can be sold any bill of goods?

I am non-partisan myself, but I have both Republican and Democrat friends. None of the Republicans ever seem to be attempting to con anyone. Have you ever been coned by a Republican ?
This is just another case of- - - - slam the other party, they're all a bunch of crooks and liars. You can't trust a word they say. They're running the whole country right into the mud.
Sadly, that goes for either party. They're both cut from the same batch of cookie dough.

Democrats do their fair of conning people too. Both major political parties
are guilty of that. That's why they both have spin doctors and professional
speech writers.
