Baud- the rate of data transmission; it is based on the number of signal elements transmitted in a second.

Bit-- this is a contraction of the term Binary digIT, ans it is a number in base 2, which means that it can only be a 0 or 1.

Byte-- 8 bits

1 byte = 8 bits.

Baud = rate of bit or byte. For example, baud rate = 9600 Bit/sec.

A baud is usually one bit per second, whereas a byte is usually eight bits.
