I think TV Programmes were better back in the 70's and 80's!!
Blue Peter - seems to have been around for ever!
Newsround was just starting out
Rhubarb and Custard - that weird wobbly cartoon
Bagpus - the saggy old cloth cat, the mice on the mouse organ et al
Biker Grove with a very young Ant & Dec as PJ and Duncan
The Magic Roundabout - time for bed said Zebedee
Trumpton and Camblewick Green - always got them mixed up!
Rainbow!
Jackinory - tell a story
Play School with Brian Cant! Humpty Dumpty and little ted.
WOW you've brought me back some lovely memories!
Thanks!!!

Bagpuss, Button Moon, Thomas the Tank Engine, Rainbow. Then cartoons like Ulysees, Dogtanian and the Three Muskahounds (classic!), Count Duckula. There were loads more that I just can't remember the names of now.
I do remember Mary Mungo and Midge, I think - was it a girl, her dog and a bird, weird cartoon? I they brought it back as part of Tikkabilla, but I could be wrong.
Oh yeah, Rent-a-ghost, Rod & Emu, Orville, Worzel Gummage and Dr Who.

Oooh a blast from the past!
I remember Mary Mungo and Midge and I loved Playaway, Swapshop, Playschool, Bagpuss, Pipkins and, of course, Captain Pugwash (how did the Beeb get away with such sexual innuendos?!!)

Itsy and Bitsy were cool. Camberwick Green, Let's Pretend, Playaway, Jamie and the Magic Torch, Button Moon, Sooty, Rainbow and Fingermouse were also fantastic.

Rainbow was legendary. But was it just me or did anyone else think they were cruel when they zipped up Zippy's mouth?
I remember Chorlton & the Wheelies, but that witch used to scare me though!
