she is going to be a pirate. im not sure if she will go to the halloween dance at school, but if she does i want it to be a appropriate. she wont have the weapon, it is sold seperately. for all moms out there, would you let your eleven year old wear this?

It is cute. I would have her wear some biker shorts underneath because that one high slit looks a little high, but on her it may not be too high. I couldn't tell about the top maybe just a tank top underneath most of these costumes are a little thin. My daughter is eleven and if she took these tips I think it would be okay if she felt comfortable with it.

I think it would be okay. I'm not a parent, but I have been to a few halloween stores this season and there are some very racy costumes for young girls. This one seems pretty tame by comparison. I think that giving in on this costume would show that you support her choices and that you realize that she can make decisions and you won't be up all night worried that she looks like a trampy fairy or something.

It very appropriate. Just have her where flat boot instead of heel. They have cute boots from Old Navy that would work great! Be happy that this is the costume that she likes because my 12 year old little sister want to be dorty and I'm 23 and i wouldn't even wear the costume that she wants. (Dorothy apron if you want to see what i mean.)

I think it is OK as long as there is definitely something behind the laces (looks like the striped material), and nix on the boots. She can wear flat black shoes. Those boots are what makes it look a little provocative.
No makeup.

I would allow my daughter to wear this if I had an 11 year old daughter. There appears to be nothing wrong with it and it does not appear to be too revealing if you know what I mean.

i do not like to wear open things either
but i must say that the outfit is very cool and is in fact appropriate
my mom would bye me such a thing and she is mad stict
