Get This:
http://www.ccleaner.com/
Very good at cleaning the crap hence c(rap)cleaner.
If you don't know much about PCs leave the "advanced" button unchecked.
PS its freeware
Install:
Go Options, Settings, then click "secure file deletion", this uses 3 passes to delete files, slow I know but it works.
Then click "Cleaner" on the left and "Clean" on the bottom right of your screen.
If you want to securely remove unwanted data or files, try this:

You may also have spy ware, so try this free scanner:
http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/
update the database on-line then run a scan, if anything show up - delete simple.
Hope that helps..

it could be that you have a really slow internet connection. double click on your local area connection status on the menu bar next to your clock. see what speed you are running on. do you have broadband or dialup (dialup is very much slower). make sure that you regularly empty your temporary internet files
go to >tools >internet options > delete files. this deletes all your temporary internet files (and they really are unwanted, there is nothing there that you need, so deleting frequently is essential)
change "days to keep pages in history" to about 5 days only.
there are other things you could do but these are a good start. also, make sure that you are scanning your computer regularly for viruses. you could have a virus slowing your system down. hope this has helped, cheers

You either need to add more memory to your system or clean out your Browsers cache..

In Internet Explorer... Go to tools, Internet options ... in temporary internet files click on delete.. they will all be gone... go into the advanced tab and click on the box that says delete files when browser is closed, and you won't have that problem again.. or you could have a lot of spyware.. then you might want to download Spybot and clean your system..
