There aren't age limits to dressing up. Whether you're going to an adult Halloween party, taking your kids trick-or-treating, or just staying home watching horror movies and answering the door for trick-or-treaters, it's okay to be wearing a costume. That's why you see as many adult costumes around Halloween as you do kids costumes. Heck, last year my grandparents went to a sorority Halloween party dressed as a priest and a nun. They're almost 80. :-D

But if you're 15 and wanting to wear a costume and go trick-or-treating by yourself or with a group of 15-year-olds, I think you may be pushing the age limit.

It's fun to dress up in a costume at ANY age. Why would anyone set an age limit? Of course to go trick or treating is a different story. That's pretty much limited to 12 and under.

I don't think there should be any age limit if you love the fall season and think it's fun to dress up for halloween...a lot of people say a lot of things, but, dressing up in costume to have fun doesn't mean that you are worshiping some other god, besides Our God...Have a Happy and fun Halloween....

Hi catamount,
You can be any age to don a costume just because one is older doesn't mean we still can't dress for Halloween besides there's Halloween parties for best, worst costumes. Your never to old to dress up & party. Have a good day & Happy Halloween! :0)

I don't think it's an age limit, but just how comfortable a person feels in dressing up for Halloween. I know these sweet little old ladies that dress up as witches for this scary haunted house in town during Halloween and they absolutely love doing it!

If you are a kid I think you'll know when it feels kinda weird to you to be going out and wearing a Halloween costume. If you are not sure see if your friends are doing the costume thing. Be if you really want to do it then go out and have fun.

Depends on WHY you're wearing a costume. We don't give out candy to trick-or-treaters above age 13. If the teen is growing a mustache, he's to old to be trick-or-treating. By that age you should have some friends to watch scary movies with, go to haunted houses with, go tp some houses...NOT doing little kid activities.

Breathing. I'll be 51 by Halloween & I'm working on my costume now. When you get too old to have fun, you might as well lay down & die.
