He said he was flying down in a Sikorsky helicopter to his friends farm in the nearby village in Surrey from his house in Derbyshire My texts to him have remained "pending" and I am at a loss to know where he is....HELP!

you said that they were flying to a farm...maybe theres no signal there so thats why your messages are pending....call the police in that area and enquire...

Beyond the: sis man, you cruel cruel person.
Do you know who lives on the farm?? If you do you could phone the local police and tell them you are worried and they may check it out for you.
Like someone mentioned above it could be that their are no signals there.
Or else contact the nearest airport they should have his flight plan , mmmm, i think, just trying to sound intelligent now:)) But don't worry i am sure he is ok:)))

Have you tried ringing the mobile to see if it is on?do you know any details of his friends?
