I'm not the fastest of swimmers but I can do 25 metres in just over a minute!
I'm currently "swimming the channel" in my local swimming pool in aid of a charity called Aspire. By the end of this week I should be about half way!!!

I used to swim a long time ago and could do 50m in 25 seconds. It would probably take me about 50 secs now

18 seconds to swim 33 metres of my local pool.
Extrapolates to 13.6 secs for 25m.
Incidentally the record for 50m freestyle shortcourse (ie two 25 metre lengths) is 21.1 secs.

i can swim the 50 in 32sec. but its my first year swimming. but the 25...hm.i about 16 then, but it would probably be faster since you dont have to save your energy, you just go all out

I'm not exactly the fastest one... but I'd guess around 20 secs. I only have my 50M time which is 41.6secs.
