hi we have a school dance and i dont have anyone to go with its less that than a month away. the boy that i liked already asked someone but their is this one boy he is kida cute he is also a grade below me. but he is nice.im a library aid andhe came into the library for the last 4 days today whem he came in he he was in thier for like 10sec and the left he lookedat me and smiled but i dont know if he has a girlfriedn already but i do want to ask hime to the dance but idont want to be embarassed please help

Approach him in the library and tell him you have noticed him in there a lot lately is he working on a report or something. Then strike up small talk and ask him if he is going to the dance. If he already has a date ask a cousin that goes to a different school and tell everyone it is your boyfriend from California.

Ask the boy to the dance. The worst he can say is he can't go or that he already has a girlfriend. Don't pass up opportunities in life like that. You don't want to be sitting at home the night of the dance wondering if you might of had a chance to be there. I was shy in school and I think I let many things get in the way of getting what I wanted. You can't be happy in life or proud of what you do if you aren't willing to take chances at least a little. You should just take him aside and ask him if he wants to go to the dance. The worst that could happen is he'll say no and you're back where you started. But you'll feel real bad if you never ask. Great job working as a library aid!

I think you should ask him, and if you don't have a date, it shouldn't stop you from going... its always fun to go with a bunch of friends... have fun regardless...oh and ignore that person that was the first one to write... he's so ignorant... he's the type of people you want to stay away from... people who judge you for your religion or race... good luck!

just tell him that that you think he is a really nice guy and you dont have a date yet for the dance, and if he doesn't, would he like to go with you

I would just ask him if he would be interested in going with you as freinds. It could be fun. If not, ask one of your friends who don't have a date to go as your date. Good luck.
