I am sitting at home on a Holiday so obviously nothing is open, I have basic materiels paper, pencil, scissors, tape, glue,Fabrics, wool, and some other boring things. I am trying to make a doll that looks pretty good but it's not working out. Does anyone know how to Make a doll out of these materiels?

:) cute. Do you know what the 'tin man' looks like in the 'Wizard of Oz'? You can roll up strips of paper into cylinders....different widths and lengths for head, body, legs and arms...attach with string. You can make paper hair by cutting a strip of paper and making several lengthwise cuts not quite to the end of the paper...then curve the strip and fluff or shape the strand strips. Hands, feet, facial features can be drawn and cut out and glued on. Have fun!

did you try paper mache (sp?) Try about.com for directions. I would search for dollmaking for kids. should have less complex materials.
