Hi

Well good for you for loving your turkeys... Im sure they enjoy having easy food from you..

However If you establish reg feeding.. you will kind of make them a bit dependant on you to keep feeding... in winter this is most important... so just be aware of that.

Article about turkeys.. Offical DNR veiwpoint...

NOW....
Since I donbt alweays agree with that..

IF you have been or going to feed them...

Cracked corn... is over all best in winter... its high energy,, cheap and will not be effected by wet, rain or snow.
Best way to buuy it is from a feed mill.. there is prob one near you ..Here it runs about 7.00 for a 100 lb bag...
Thats a lot of corn... just put some out same time every day where they feed and they will come....

Here is an article on Turkeys thats kind of informative

Hope that helps

Cracked corn, grass, bugs, etc. One thing to note. Never raise chickens and turkeys together. There are disease related reasons why you shouldn't.

I'm not sure. Maybe you should Google it and find a reliable site to check it out on. Maybe your local library has a book on it. Good luck! Gobble, gobble!
