Pins and needles is caused by the nerve being pinched off. If it were circulation you would see discoloration (bluing).

I get it now and then along with a burning pain in my toe. I go to the Chiropractor and she pops it all back into place and the tingling is gone.

May be possible it could be a nerve trapped in your back, this can cause pins & needles by a slipped disc. You don't have to have any pain, but you should be aware that if you have back pain it is important you get checked out by your GP quite soon, left untreated it can cause permenant damage.

It could be low circulation of blood. But if you could move your foot and didn't feel that it was colder than your left foot, you could have a pinched nerve. Get yourself checked by a doctor and may be a chiropractor.

A trapped nerve or circulatory problems such as varicose veins could be the cause. Try elevating it whilst lying down, if this eases it then its more likely to be circulation.

Poor circulation, either because of how you have been sitting or standing or (and I hope not) an underlying vascular problem.....doubt it though.
