Im buying my husband an nintendo ds for christmas, can you watch movies on this as well as play games?

The only way to watch movies is to hack it and get the M3 card. Then you can play mp3s, movies, organizer..etc.
But you didnt hear this from me.

Oh yea, they are releasing a web browser for the DS soon too!!

You can play DS game chips and GBA game chips. But you can't watch movies on it, you can only watch cartoons which are sold in GBA chips. I would advise you to by a PSP, but if you have a kid you can buy a DS for him/her.

no ds does not support the ability to watch movies, psp would definitely be your best bet especially if its for your husband.

Yeah. It has a game boy advance slot and they are game boy advance games that are videos but you have to buy them separate. But the sows are just cartoons. They are like 20 to like 30 dollars.

No you can not watch movies, I suggest getting a psp which can do both.
