Use a cool mist humidifier with a window cracked, let her breath shower steam a few times a day, and use the "sucka moco". Use the saline drops I believe 2 times a day one drop in each nostril. If its really bad Id go to the doctor my doctor gave me some decongestant drops that helped my son out after all the other stuff didn't. Good Luck

Be very careful using the nasal aspirator thing. Some people have no idea what they're doing with that and suck so hard they draw blood from the baby's nose.

Just spray a little saline in baby's nose when it's upright. They usually blow it out. Only if you can see the booger use the aspirator and be very, very gentle!! Dont force it. It's common for baby to get stuffed up just like everyone else. Use a humidifier in their room if it's dry. A cold one is best as the warm ones fill with bacteria very quickly if not properly maintained.

My daughter is two months and just got her first cold. I have used saline drops, but she hates them. The trick is to hold a squirming baby on their back with their head tilted back and to put a few drops into each nose, then keep them in that position until the mucous thins. As my daughter hates this so much and screams when I do it, my doctor recommended buying a vapouriser to use at night. The steam when inhaled is as good as using drops. If you dont want to buy one of these, you can put her in the bathroom while people shower - the steam from that is just as good. I pop my little girl in her rocker on the bathroom floor everytime me and my partner shower and it really helps.

Do not get a vaporizer!!! My doctor told me that the warm air sets off bacteria in the air and can make baby very sick. This happened with my daughter. We bought a cool mist humidifier and it helped. The steam in the bathroom helps too. Also if you use vicks rub, mix it with a bit of vaseline or lotion. I found that just the straight stuff was a bit strong for their skin.
Good luck!

my ex mother in law gave me a wonderful hint.

you make a type of homemade horchata (rice water)

boil 3 tablespoons of rice with 1 quart of water. sprinkle cinnamon to taste. when the rice is fully cooked, run through a blender. the texture should be ever so slightly thick but thin enough to be drunken out of a bottle.
the baby should drink this instead of formula for at least two days. it worked like a charm. However if you are breastfeeding, continue breastfeeding with this rice water as a supplement. something about diary products makes the congestion makes it worse. and a humidifier also works. I think johnson and johnson came out with a menthol bath formula. and wash, wash, wash and WASH your hands.

you put the drops up her nose and the mucus comes out and you wipe it away from her nose. Also try COOL MIST (not warm)humidifier in her room. you can also get Vick vapor rub for kids and rub a small amount on her chest. Also there is bubble bath that has eucalyptus in it to help with congestion.

You can buy a humidfier or take her in the bathroom, turn on shower and close the door and sit there with her for a while. That works as well.

Hope this helps you.

Saline drops are good because they are "non-medcating". Use an eye-dropper and CAREFULLY place ONE drop at a time in each nostril. If unsuccessful....see a pediatrician!

bring her in the bathroom with you ,turn on the hot water and close the door . just sit on the toilet or something and hold her. The steam will help . Also if it sounds like its in her chest call her doctor

Do you have a "snot sucker" to use to pull stuff out of her nose. (Nasal aspirator) You can also try sitting in the bathroom with her with the door shut and the hot shower running to see is the steam helps.
