Of course not, she would have had to sing while laid on the floor if she didn't have her wheelchair, which would affect her vocal range!

I never watch the X Factor and I just happened to see the woman in the wheelchair. I cried when she got through which is completely unlike me. I thought she had a decent voice and deserved to get through. I think for the first auditions the people should sing behind a curtain or something so the judges wont be blamed for choosing a person based on how they appear physically.

First of all can I say that she is a lovely person with a GREAT attitude and she is an inspiration.
It's not her fault she's in a wheel chair, so she is quite happy to be judged on her merits.
But the producers know what sells. They need to sell advertising space. They will keep her on, it's like tourette Pete all over again!!
And let's not forget that Michelle also had a disability, albeit of her own making.
Fair play to the girl though, she has got balls.

I think so, she's in my top3 and i'm almost sure the wheelchair has nothing to do with it. She has a great voice and comes across as a genuinely nice person, she just seems really warm and nice. I don't think it's easy to know just how you would feel if she wasn't, but i beleive it doesnt make a difference.

She turned up for the auditions didn't she? She's got a great voice and personality and is flying the banner high for all those people out there that, apart from their disabilities are showing the world that they're just the same as the rest of us.

I think it helps that she could sing!! she had a terrific voice, there was one girl who tragically lost her mum to cancer and people say she uses that but she has a genuine good voice.
I said to my hubby that with x factor, everyone should stand behind a screen when they go in so they can't see the people who are singing and base it truely on the vocal chords!!

I think she would have got through even if she didn't have any disability. She is a brilliant singer who sings with so much passion and emotion she brings people into her preformance more and she is very genuine and carismatic.

I think they want a female to win this year. Shes not the only one who will get the sympathy vote, that 17y/o who has lost her mum will too. Because thats all she ever talks about.
