LimeWire Basic. You can download it at http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml and it won't cost you a thing. Don't get PRO, though, it'll cost you around $19. For extra safety, I usually do a Disk Cleanup after a downloading spree to prevent viruses, and I right-click on each downloaded file and choose "Stop Sharing File" so I know no one's going to get into my computer. It works great for me, and it hasn't slowed down my computer or anything. If you find it does, do a Disk Cleanup and then Defragment. That should speed it up again.

You can download Limewire basic for free. But if yo udo not want to load a program, webjay.org and yourmp3.net are great free sites. All you have to do is click on the song then right click and save as.
