I think lyrics are a reflection on someones life

I can relate to "Is there anybody out there"... but what is he thinking about in "Reality Sucks" or "I'm Looking Forwards to Looking Backwards"

Dont necessarily analyse them but theyre certainly an integral part of a song.If an artist has took time and trouble to put words to tunes then he/she must have been thinkin something.Least we as listeners can do is read what they sing.I say read because readin the words is a totally different feeling to hearing them sung....ie Dylans stuff reads beautifully well,almost as pure poetic form yet changes greatly when sung ,because the emphasis is on different words.I think without reading the words you would be doing an injustice to a piece of music anyway and ,sometimes the lyrics become drowned and 'lost' within the sounds being produced,often through sheer volume .Sometimes theres an insite to what the artist has been reading or seeking in life too.In short,do I personally analyse lyrics? Yeh ,guess so.Its all part of the music aint it .

It depends on the song. I don't usally analize songs but when there is a song that I must know everything about I will deffinitly anilize it.

are you the artist Graham Cairns just trying to get us to look at your website? i went there just to look at the lyrics to let you know my opinion and i didnt see lyrics anywhere, just loads of downloads etc...
