Hey, we have a project in my chemistry class. we have to dress up like a certain element, but be very creative. Most of the class has chosen their outfit, taking the very easy and most popular ones. Any ideas on what I can be? thanks!!

You can go as arsenic and wear a big poison sign or skull and cross bones.

Wear a huge plastic bag filled with air and go as helium.

You could go as uranium and wear a radiation symbol or hazmat suit.

You haven't got a chemistry class, it sounds more like a drama class. Dress up like a rainbow, with the emphasis on plenty of hues of red and yellow and orange, and you can be the metallic element Chromium. Chromate coatings are very colorful. They're used to preserve and "paint" steel parts. They make them look brassy or coppery. Chromium, along with carbon, is the second-most important additive element to Iron (Fe) that gives steel its strength. The element Chromium (atomic number 24) got its name (root word) from the colorful range of compounds it makes.

Maybe you and a buddy if they allow you to partner up go dressed as one.. and go as Hydrogen in a free state.. or any other element that travels in pairs.. Since theu travel in pairs.. Or maybe go as one of the noble gases and have a hoolahoop and put eight balls within the ring of the hoolahoop representing the 8 full electrons.. Or go as a broken down old man.. wearing a shirt that says "Antimony= Alimony".. I hope this helps..

Dress up as an alarm clock. Cesium is what makes the numbers on a digital alarm clock red.

Or, dress up as a plane, or a pilot, and you could be lithium. It is used in the construction of planes because it is the lightest but very strong metal.
