I caught a segment on this topic on CNN, but don't recall the name of computer program they were talking about

I did not see the CNN report. But here is my take on the whole thing.

If you have the time to go back in and monitor everything that is going on, you also have the time to sit and help your child with their computer work. You can inform them of the activities that they should not be involved in.

But you can get a Free Keylogger from http://www.download.com and check everything that they have typed. You can see usernames, passwords and everything else. While you can't see what they clicked on, it will still give you plenty of evidence, so you can talk to your child about it. (yes, they would TYPE a website address). Also, delete any favorites that you do not approve of. Let them know that you MUST know their password. They do not have their own private space on the family computer.
