sin 48=x/14. make sure ur calculator is on scientific and on degree. please tell me how u figured it out. please and ty!

sin(48) = (x/14)
x = 14sin(48)
x = about 10.404

First you must multiply each side by 14.

x=14*sin(48)

Then you simply plug it into the calculator, and...

x=-1.075556526*10^2

x = 14 * sin(48). If your calculator is configured correctly and on degree, it should tell you that sin(48) = 0.743144.

14 sin 48 = x
