Sometimes I wonder if its a good idea to let them be teachers,counselors or any job associated with children.

I think anyone who wants to work with children should be thoroughly investigated. I don't think anyone should be singled out. I also feel that man and female role models are necessary in children's life. My daughter's father is a police officer who works with children and he has made a positive impact on the lives of many troubled youths. Don't let one bad apple spoil the bunch besides look at the female teachers who are taking advantage of young boys in the classes. So I don't think anyone is exempt.

as a father of two children that I have custody of, I ask why not? children need to learn and grow, and if someone is willing to take the time to teach, let them, they have something to offer. don't let someones sex determine how my children are going to be raised. some of the best teachers, counselors or others involved with children are men. I'm not saying men are best. I'm saying that all people have the ability to teach, why limit my child's learning because of sex?

Yes, because not all men will harm children. The same could be said about women because their are women that have hurt children as well.
