I'm not sure i understand.. do you rinse off the patio, and the dirt next to the patio smells?? i would soak the the dirt that smells, add some coffee grounds.. or pepper to the soil, the dogs don't like the smell and will find another place to go) but then you have to work on getting your dogs to relieve themselves somewhere else..you are going to have to be out there when they go to the bathroom.. if they start to head towards your patio.. tell them no. you can train a dog to go in the same place always.. put them on a leash, walk them to the area you want them to go and give them a command.."do your business" and wait there until they are done. praise them.. after awhile they will understand that is what you want.. always keep there area cleaned up, otherwise they will move from that place.. good luck

Get off the couch and take your dogs for walks and show them where you want them to go. Don't let them alone on the patio anymore. The urine will eventually leech out of the soil.

If its urine just keep washing it in with the hose. If its poop, well shame on you. walk them or have a spot way in the back of your lot that is for the dogs. in the heat even that will need to be buried every now and then and sprinkled with lime to keep the odor down. lime is a good odor neutralizer. m

You will have to leach (wash) the soil. That means you have to wet it and wet it and wet it, allowing it to drain and finally the urine will get out of the soil. Flood it! It's either that or dig out all the soil that is there and replace it. I go with the washing method.

Clean up what you can. You can try some Lyme on the dirt, sometimes that can neutralize the smell.

geez try walking the poor things! our dogs seldom do their business in the yard because we walk them! if you can't be bothered to care for them properly then put them up for adoption.
