My machine is acting weirdly. It gives me this prompt

SVChost.exe - Application Error
The exception uknown software exception (0xc0000409) occured in the application at location 0x5b86a3c0.

Then sometimes it hangs, sometimes it closes the windows, sometimes the taskbar turns khaki (being blue). I don't have a clue what that prompt means. Can anybody help Please?

I have used adaware and sopho antivirus too.

Check event viewer and see if you can find which application is causing this.....Go to Start>>Control Panel>>Administrator Tools>>Event Viewer>>Applications....Double click the error and see what info it gives you....

If it's happening when you open a Word document in IE check the link below...

Could be absolutely anything - apparently running a windows update may help?

Worth a try!! does it happen at any particular time or is it quite random>

it sounds like you have a file missing from a program you are trying to run

.exe file is to run something
but then it is coming across an error if you run things in a specific way

have you installed a new program on your computer or deleted one ????
