My sons father is in jail and will be there for a while. I was wondering could I still get child support if so..I am a single mother and would rely on that for income.

He's not making money in jail - so you will have to wait till he gets out and then sue him for back child support.

You mean your babies daddy is in jail. You can still get child support but since it is based on his income it wont be very much but maybe you can get 5 or 10 bucks a month. You need to have more babies....

yes you may receive it but I think it is a much harder process to summit it, but If you really need it then you should get on welfare and that would automatically get your child support started and you may be entitle to every penny from day one your child was born. As for your baby's daddy he will have to pay a very large sum. Not sure what is the percentage rate of interest but I believe its is around 40 to 50% on every dollar.

He is in jail he cant get money and pay you unless he gives you some from his bank account or something like that. Another thing.... is that you in the picture? If it is you look hot!!

why. the man has enough problems with out that,you should get off your lazy *** and get a job then you wouldnt need any child support.i raised 3 kids on my own work full time i never got one penny of child support nor did i want it or needed it.

NOO U CANT GET ANY $$ WHILE HE IS IN THERE BUT U CAN FILE AND WHEN EVER HE DOES GET A JOB U CAN GET YOUR MONEY SO CALL IT A SAVINGS ACCOUNT. HE WILL LOSE HIS LICENSE AND IT WILL GO ON HIS CREDIT REPORT. THEY WILL SERVE HIM PAPERS WHILE HE IS IN THERE FILE WHILE U CAN ONCE ON THE STREET HARD TO LOCATE CONSIDER A PART TIME JOB

Not unless he has money in the bank, or property. It's not like he is making a salary, DUH. Of course you could always go on welfare like most women who don't want to WORK!!!!!
