I remember one about a girl wanting to investigate something about a family art piece she found. She takes her little brother with her and they stay over night. Sleep in a museum bed and take a bath in a fountain I think. They played that movie over and over again on cable tv in the early 80s but I never watched it all the way through.

I don't remember that...I remember one where Tom Hanks (I think) worked in a museum and the things came alive after closing, and he took his son...now I can't even remember the name of that!
good luck!
