Me and my boyfirend have been dating for about a month and we were talking way before that and he hasn't even tried to hold my hand or kiss me. He's a senior in highschool and most guys that age would have at least tried to hold my hand. I don't know if hes shy or if there is something wrong with me. He tells me Im pretty so its not like he thinks im ugly. Ijust don't know what to do. Don't me to just wait because im am waiting. Im not going to break up with him just because I know thats not what matters but I would like to act like we are dating. Does any body have any ideas about how to get him to do something?i don't mean anything sick.

You ever considered the fact that this guy is a real gentleman? He is probably concerned more about how you feel than how he feels. Not all guys are octopi with more hands than brains. Girl, you should be THANKFUL you have a gentleman. Most girls would give their eye teeth for him. If you feel the need to, slip your hand in his. No problem here. . . not too forward, just friendly and you'll look more like girlfriend and boyfriend. That may be what he is waiting for. After that let him take the lead.

I am 30, and went out with a guy 5 times before we even kissed. He is probly just shy. If you want him to hold your hand you can do one of 2 things....talk to him and ask him his thoughts about it or just take his hand..there is nothing wrong with the girl making the first move like that. be happy that he's not the type to think only about sex and pressure you to go that way...be happy you have him in your life and be open and honest with him...he'll appreciate the fact you arent too shy to talk about it.

Be thankful that you have a bf that age who isn't all about sex sex sex! He may just be the type of guy who doesn't like to show public displays of affection. I hate it when I am out in public and two (mostly kids) are groping each other and trying to see how far one can get his or her tongue down the other ones throat. Just take it as it comes hon...it's only been a month. Good luck...

Just go and grab his hand. Some guys are kinda shy about doing that. That's how it was for my boyfriend and when I finally just grabbed his hand he said he liked that I took the initiative.

okay he must really like you because my bf had a boyfriend like that he said he didn't want to do anything to make her mad he was so bad he would have like a big space between them!! he also thought that he was really ugly and she deserved better!! what i think you should do is make the move yourself to make him feel more comfortable to do it on his own!!! I'm positive this will!!! well i guess threes a chance it wont if that happens let it happen on its own! ask yourself is he worth waiting for??
