I am going to homecoming saturday. My boyfriend is getting me a corsage, but I don't know if im supposed to get him a boutonniere or even where to find one...HELP!

Yup, you sure are. You can call any local florist or even WalMart and tell them what colors you want it done in. It's inexpensive and most of the guys WILL have one.

A bouttonniere is very easy to get or make. It's really just one flower with just a bit of stem tucked into the button hole on his jacket. So, I'd say go ahead and get or make him one, but be graceful is not requiring him to wear it. He'll appreciate the gesture either way.

yes, you're supposed to get him a boutonniere. you can check with your local florist what you can get for a boutinnere. i think it would be sweet if you guys match or compliment your flower of choice.

Ya' can get one at any floral shoppe, grocery stores, etc.
Usually they would like at least a 3 day advance notice...Will cost ya' 'bout 10 bucks!!!

I think it would be nice. You can order one from any florist, including one at Safeway or King Soopers. If you know what color corsage he is getting you, you can order one to match.

just ask him if he would wear one.. i always told my girlfriend that i'd rather not wear one to homecoming. but, i always bought her a corsage.... just be open with him. if he's not comftorable with one, save the money! if he does want one, just go down to your local flower shop/florist, and they can make you one for not too much money.. good luck, and enjoy your homecoming! =)

Yes, I believe that you are. Get with some of your girlfriends and all of you can go shopping for some together for your dates. That way all of the guy dates will have one. Be sure to keep it in the fridge until you pin it on him.

it really depends on how formal or informal your homecoming dance is.. i personally think seeing a guy with one is funny. but why dont you ask him if he would like one.? that would solve it.
