how do i render amber?

I have some extra small pieces that I would like to melt into one piece, any suggestions?

A small crucible type device such as is used for a diffuser. I have a small brass dish that sits a bit above a tealight candle, the gentle heat is enough to melt it and when it cools it pops loose from the brass with ease. Worked for me. I hope it does for you :)
