i raise vegtables as well as rose plants, and exotic plants.
people have told me that i am wierd just because i raise plants, and its not like i try to work the subject of plants into a conversation i never have mentioned it. but somehow they know ( i live in a small town area)

Ace, I have extensive gardens and raise all kinds of plants I enjoy working in the gardens. It makes me feel good to come home and see all the good things grow!

there is no real answer to this question except that people tend to think others weird if different from the norm. in this case the normal is that while a lot of people have house plants most do not raise them or have that many. the funny part is that if it werent for people like you, they wouldnt have any house plants. if its what you like, dont worry about what they think. have fun and enjoy your plants.

Raising plants is a wonderful hobby and it's so good to see something you have planted grow to maturity.
If it gives you pleasure and it obviously does I really wouldn't worry about what any body else says.
You haven't yet met anybody with your passion and hopefully you will and when you do I'm sure you won't worry about being told you are weird.
Don't ever give up something you are passionate about, you can only get better at it.

I also enjoy growing plants. I like the unusual ones though. Poppies, hemp, morning glories, Hawaiin Woodrose...I don't use their products for anything except for the hemp plant though. Something about banned things appeals to me, books included. I guess that makes me weird too ! Ah well. Normal is boring.

Sounds to me like they are the ones that are weird. Growing plants is a relaxing, good hobby and if they are bugged by it then let them know next time you see them that you like talking to your plants too.Some plants are smarter then some people we have to deal with!! Good luck!

consider urself of the unique. u have a different hobby, that's good for the environment, makes u knowledgeable in something, and relaxing, that u enjoy. when someone asks what u like to do in ur time, u don't have to say the same thing as everyone and its ur choice whether u say something or not. and if u don't already have someone in ur life, u can always meet someone different like u who happens to like the same thing!
people always consider others who do different things to be weird. i usually smile and take it as a compliment when someone calls me weird! :)

plants are great. think of it this way....women love plants and flowers. you have a good start. others should be jealous. have a good day and keep up with the plants!!

properly, you cant in basic terms fake which you're 15. that is mendacity, and the international in basic terms doesnt artwork like that. you're sixteen. Now, in case you arent mushy with that year of your existence, and you dont p.c. to think of approximately it or communicate approximately it, thats ok. yet you cant substitute your age and act like that year didnt exist. If something took place for the time of that year that reasons you issues emotionally or mentally, then it rather is beneficial to look for counseling or confer with somebody approximately it. it might help.

nothing wrong with that at all . i love to grow my own also look like we all will have to learn to grow some vegy the way this stuff is grown now it could kill you . i love flowers all type of plants around my home my friend and i grow peppers tomato's etc.love to see them grow and to eat them
