It took place on 1 May 1707, and was a celebration of the formal creation of the "United Kingdom of Great Britain". People danced the pavane and the galliard, or shimmied to the latest baroque tune. A good time was had by one and all.

The Wag Club in Londons Wardour street was (one of) the first to legally open until 6am if thats any help. Had DJ's such as Barry K Sharp and Trevor Nelson. Top night out!
