Yeah, he can be quite the funny guy, but he was in danger of being over-exposed/too popular for a time. He seems to have reigned himself in recently which is good. Pheonix Nights was much better than Max & Paddy. His autobiography sounds as if it could be quite amusing...

Doesn't everyone?!
He is SO true to life and down to earth...one of his tours was call "The Buy Me Mum A Bungalow Tour"; that just says it all!!!
I never watched 'Phoenix Nights' and I'm afraid I didn't like what I saw of 'Max & Paddy'...(but then I WAS the only person in England who hated Ricky Gervais' "The Office"...didn't get it at all! Though I LOVE "Extras" - then again I didn't like the BAFTA episode and - according to the critics - it was supposed to be one of the funniest episodes ever!)
Anyway - back to PK...
Cheesecake?...CHEESE...CAKE??? a cake made of cheese??? ooh I feel sick...

He is awesome! 'Garlic Bread!?' what a line! I love the dunking biscuit with hob nobs and rich teas and the bit when he's talking about weddings and he does the impression of the 'Dad' slagging off uncle 'nob head' and the YMCA comes on and he turns round on his stool with that look on his face! absolute classic!!!
