Note that the number after the decimal point is a multiple of 9: 9*4=36, 9*3=27, and so on.

So, the formula for the nth number in the sequence is 9.45 - 0.09*n.

Plug in n=1,2,3,... and you get, in order:

9.36
9.27
9.18
9.09
9
8.91
8.82
8.73
etc.
