It isn't something you can 'make at home', but my doctor recommended Neosporin when I had stitches. I form Keloids and this was on my face. I used it twice a day and have no scar. Unfortunately this will not work on old scars or stretch marks. I have heard that cocoa butter works, but I have never had success with it. The same is true with Aloe vera plants and vitamin E. If you don't form keloids any of these might work.

I've had good results using cocoa butter (externally applied), vitamin E (externally & internally). Avoiding strong sunlight or using a sunblock helps keep them from darkening.

I understand that aloe vera is great for scars. Buy a plant and use that. It's great for burns too, as well as cuts and scrapes.
