He needs to step down. It's obvious that he covered up the abuse by Foley. How is that being a good leader?

All of the top Republican leadership knew about this stuff. Their better off leaving him as leader -- till after the election which even the Republicans expect to lose. Then who cares. Nobody wants to step into the spotllight right now. Hastert stays.

He should definitely be in jail & for him to stand there & say he
isn't resiginig, is a slap in the face to the American People. Just
who does he think he is? Maybe if we the people hollowed loud
enough & long enough they would get the message! They work
for us & its about time they were reminded of that!

I am not sure if he will remain speaker of the house...but i am pretty sure he will be reelected. He is my congressman and there has been an outpouring of support for him.

yes because I don't see Bush firing him

they are using mis-direction to avoid addressing his actions

numerous people have come forward proving he knew but no outcry from Bush for him to be removed
