Choose any two values of x (or C, for #3) and compute the corresponding values of y (or F). For simplicity, let one of those values be 0.

Then, you get two points that you can plot on your graph. Draw a horizontal line for your x-axis, then a vertical line passing through it for your y-axis. The intersection of these lines is the point (0,0), the origin. To plot a point (x,y), go x units to the right of the origin (or left, if x is negative), and then y units up (or down, if y is negative), and that's where the point goes.

All of these functions are linear functions, so the graph is a straight line. After plotting two points, you can just draw a straight line that passes through them, and that's your graph.

Damn!! You should have learned this in Algebra 1.
8y = -2x + 20 => y = -(1/4)x + 20/8
-1/4 is the slope, and 20/8 is the y intercept. Put a point at 20/8 on the y axis. Now go 4 units to the right and one unit down. Place another point there. Connect the points with a straight line and extend the line to the edges of the graph.

You do the other ones ☺

1) y = -x/4 + 5/2

2) x = -1.70

I have simplified the first two for you, but do you really expect someone to graph them for you?

Find the x & y intercepts for each one, then graf it. they are all linear equations.
