Does anyone else here mull everything over to the nth degree when dating or when there is a rush of change or emotion?

Being new to dating, (my husband died last year)I am skeptical about everyone. I think it's normal to have insecurities, am I too fat , too short, too tall, whatever....It's okay to be particular, you know what you want and don't ever make yourself feel shortchanged!!!! I think everyone wants companionship, but one doesn't have to take second best if they have doubts. I have learned to make me the best I can be and don't have to take the first thing that comes along..Good luck!!!

Yes. I find it difficult to just have fun, like the whole world is at stake. I know what's really happening is my issues with acceptance. Jamie Lee Curtis says that the media subjects us all with ideas and images that we are never enough just as we are.
