I think "Crash" deserved this award as best picture. People argue that it didjnt deserve it because it was made on such a small budget but what i think is a movie is a movie no matter how u slice and dice it! lol I mean look at the movie Clerks. It was SOOO low budget but it is a classic comedy movie that everyone knows compared to movies on a higher budget that never leave a mark. Crash was one of the most well made movies is what i think. what do u think?

Movies should be judged on the performances of the actors, and the quality of the film overall......NOT by how much they spent making the film. A lot of great films were made on a low budget, and that doesn't make them any less worthy of watching. I say it won because it deserved to win, not because someone thought it had a big name star in it or because it was a big budget film. Even if it was a lower budget film....who cares? It rightly deserved to win the Oscar!

The only people who thought Crash shouldn't have one were the gays who wanted brokeback to win. Brokeback was not that great of a movie, the story was boring, the acting was so-so, it was just about gay themes so they think it should've won.

Crash was a well done well acted movie with and interesting story line(s). Good choice.

i tried to watch Crash 3 times and could never get thru it. i really did not enjoy it. However, i did like Brokeback Mountain, i found it to be moving and very well done... beautifully filmed too. Also liked Capote but i dont think that was nominated for Best Picture.
