i've started working on a project to make a website where current students can write down their thoughts on their university and course so prospective students can read it to give more information on deicding which university to go for. do you reckon its a good idea yes/no?

Sounds like a wonderful idea to me. Know it would have been a great help when my daughter was making decisions re her future. We could have spent time together reviewing comments etc. You could even have links for one to one contact if individuals so desired.
Go for it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

That's sounds like a good idea but there is a website out there called ratemyprofessor.com or something like that where it rates the teachers. Your website would be good if there is detailed information about the teachers

If you (or someone you elect to do so) moderate such a site so that it doesn't just become insults, I think you might even have a unique & potentially very valuable "product" idea there!
If you work this right you might even make enough money to pay for college! Great idea!

Yeah.
i am a student i think that would help. we have something like that at college... its called blackboard. But to have someone 24/7 (maybe) to talk to.... that would be great.
