Are Americans too quick to point out other Countrys past mistakes and put their own spin on them?

I just feel that the US acts alot like the we can do no wrong Country.. After answering a post here about weather we helped N Korea build the bomb.. I was given a link from one of the answers stating that we helped them.After reading I got that it was in the form of supplying them with the Candu Reactor. Which is an Electricity Generation plant . After hearing calls like "lets attack Canada now" I have to ask
Who armed Sadame Husain, Who armed Bin Ladden and his Mouja Hadine with stingers? Not to mention all the other backroom deals for arms (IRAN CONTRA) ect ect .. Don't you think,,,, as I replyed to the sender of the link " You should clean the s h i t from your own back yard before complaining about the smell in mine ?

The fact of the matter is, That most of the arms killing people today were developed in the good old USA or the USSR during the cold war.. if we are to point fingers, Should we be calling a spade a spade here ?

MEL T You notice that the Dollar is almost the same in value now, and you dont shop in Canada like you use too. So why should I give you Thanks for saving your own money. sweetsmel: We didn't loose any wars and before you say we didnt partake ill add that we fought in WW1 WW2 Korea, Gulf war 1 and now Afganistan where our troops are bering the brunt of Taliban suacide attacks at the momment. we are at 40 dead. Most in the last 2 months .

After paying with the blood sweat and tears of our best men, We hear, A holes, in the states calling to bomb Canada which I consider a slap in the face . Who has done more with so little, Then Canadians Not Germaney, Spain, France, nor Itily,All of which, are countries with bigger armed forces then Canada.

The funny thing about the future is that you never know how it's going to turn out. Policy decisions only become mistakes when the intended goal is not obtained. The road to success is paved with failure. Once it is clear that a policy is doomed, it's time to change direction.
The past is unimportant. If you dwell on the mistakes of the past, you will lose the future.

I think you shouldn't be so upset about it. I think you seem pretty quick to point the finger at the US. Most people are. Then they get mad if someone even mentions something their country did. When did people become so defensive? I love Canada. Great Country!

Then petition your leaders to leave NATO. You're not obligated. As a matter of fact the US buys a ton of Canadian exports. Oil for example.

The question was rude, but your response was profane and finger pointing as well, if you recall.
